The Big Three.

Inshore, Offshore, and Tarpon — our three most-requested trips, and the ones our captains know best. Click "Get a quote" on any of them and the inquiry form below opens with that trip pre-selected.

Inshore
Snook · Redfish · Seatrout

Inshore

Bays, flats, mangroves. Half-day, full-day, sunrise. The most-booked trip we run — and the one that puts new anglers on real fish on the first cast.

Offshore
Grouper · Kingfish · Snapper · Cobia

Offshore

Open Gulf trips out to 60 miles. Bottom fish on the reefs, troll for kings on the way home. 6-, 8-, and 10-hour offerings — most productive light-tackle saltwater day in the area.

Tarpon
Flagship The Silver King · May–July

Tarpon

Megalops atlanticus. 80–150 lb fish off the beach. The Tarpon Capital of the World — Boca Grande Pass — 30 minutes south. Six- and eight-hour trips, peak window books months in advance.

Captain's Take

Best fishing windows are typically the hour before to two hours after a tide change — bait moves, fish feed. For tarpon May–July, target outgoing tides at the passes; for snook year-round, target dock lights an hour after sunset.

The Quarry

Featured Species —
Real Fish for Real Anglers.

Tarpon get the headlines, but most days are about putting fish on the line, period. Snook before sunrise, redfish in the bay, trout on a popping cork, sheepshead on the bridge pilings, grouper offshore. Pick a fish — we'll match you to the captain who runs that bite best.

Common Questions

Everything You're
About to Ask Us.

How much does a fishing charter cost?
Rates vary by captain, vessel, trip length, and group size. Half-day inshore trips typically start in the low hundreds; offshore and tarpon trips run higher because of fuel, longer days, and specialized tackle. Call or text 941-294-4144 for current rates and availability.
What's included on every charter?
All fishing equipment — rods, reels, tackle. Bait (live or artificial as appropriate). Your fishing license is covered by the captain's for-hire license. Ice and cooler for your catch. USCG-compliant safety gear. And decades of local knowledge from a captain who knows these specific waters.
What should I bring?
Reef-safe sunscreen, polarized sunglasses (you really need these — fish-spotting and eye protection), a hat or buff, non-marking soft-sole shoes, snacks and drinks (no glass), and a camera or phone for photos. For offshore trips: Dramamine if you're prone to seasickness — take it the night before, not the morning of.
Are the trips good for kids and beginners?
Absolutely — our Family & Kids charters are calm-water inshore trips built specifically around young anglers and first-timers. Captains are patient, the boats are stable, and the fish are reachable. Ages 4 and up; no fishing experience required.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The captain makes the call on the morning of the trip. If conditions are unsafe, you can reschedule for any future date — no charge, no deposit lost. Light rain and chop don't cancel; thunderstorms and small-craft advisories do.
Do I need a fishing license?
No — your saltwater fishing license is covered by the captain's for-hire license while you're aboard. If you fish from shore or your own boat outside the charter, you'll need a Florida saltwater license; get one at myfwc.com.
Do you take a deposit?
No deposit is required to lock in a date — we just need a credit card on file. If you cancel within 48 hours we charge a small fee; otherwise the full amount is paid the morning of the trip.
How big a group can you take?
Most of our boats run up to 6 anglers. Bigger groups (corporate trips, bachelor/bachelorette weekends, family reunions) can be split across multiple captains in the network running together — we coordinate.
